Underneath the aristocratic, fragrant, black fruit nose lies an incredibly concentrated palate of blackberry coulis, plums and dark chocolate with toast, coffee and cigar notes. The tannins are firm but incredibly ripe, the structure extremely impressive, while the rich finish is wonderful. This is an elegant, highly attractive and intellectual Latour that will provide enormous drinking pleasure without having to wait the usual 12-15 years to open your first bottle. 75% Cabernet Sauvignon | 20% Merlot | 4% Cabernet Franc | 1% Petit verdot
